Mingaco Healing Cooperative is composed of individuals with collectively over 30 years of experience in both clinical and community settings, offering coaching and psychotherapy while integrating decolonial and culturally responsive healing modalities.

Javonna Arriaga, LMFT

Owner

Javonna Arriaga is a therapist, artist, and activist whose work is rooted in community and liberation.

She is working on her certifications in sex therapy and brainspotting, Javonna’s practice centers anti-oppression, abolitionist, and justice-oriented frameworks, utilizing liberatory, narrative, somatic, and decolonial modalities.

An Afro-Indigenous, queer, neurodivergent, and relationship anarchist, Javonna’s life is shaped by her diverse heritage and deep commitment to intergenerational justice.

Outside the therapy room, she enjoys dancing, writing poetry, gardening, traveling, and exploring new interior design ideas.

Mark Houston, LCSW, QS

Owner

Mark Houston is a purpose-driven psychotherapist and Qualified Supervisor whose work is focused in advocacy and empowerment, and rooted in anti-oppression.

Mark utilizes EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Psychoanalysis to support his clients in developing a deeper understanding of themselves with the intention of long-term impact. Mark’s practices are trauma-informed and intersectional as they provide a non-judgmental, collaborative space for growth and healing.

As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, Mark believes that everyone’s journey has been shaped by their unique lived experiences and he is honored to bare witness to your growth.
